HUNTINGTON, N.Y. — Classic-rock fans can hear the music of Boston during a free outdoor concert at Heckscher Park in Huntington on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
NY to Boston, a Long Island-based tribute band, will perform at the Chapin Rainbow Stage as part of the Town of Huntington Summer Arts Festival. Admission is free, and the performance is open to the public regardless of residency.
The concert is being presented as a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Boston’s self-titled debut album, released in 1976. The landmark recording produced some of the band’s most recognizable songs, including “More Than a Feeling,” “Peace of Mind,” “Foreplay/Long Time,” “Rock & Roll Band,” “Smokin’” and “Hitch a Ride.”
Boston’s debut went on to become one of the most commercially successful rock albums in American music history. The Recording Industry Association of America has certified the album 17-times platinum in the United States.
