How We Chose These Fall Destinations
This guide focuses on destinations where fall programming is a meaningful part of the visitor experience. We looked for farms, agricultural attractions, nurseries and seasonal events offering multiple activities such as corn mazes, hayrides, animals, play areas, live entertainment, harvest demonstrations, crafts or seasonal food. Ordinary farm stands, pumpkin sellers and unrelated street fairs are not included simply because they operate during autumn.
Fall schedules can change substantially from year to year. Locations with published 2026 dates are identified as confirmed, while established annual attractions that have not yet posted a final 2026 calendar are marked as pending. Visitors should always verify operating dates, admission policies and weather-related closures with the destination before making a long drive.
