Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition Marks 25th Anniversary of “Chefs for a Cause” Fundraising Event

BABYLON, NY – The Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition, a community-based organization that has supported individuals and families affected by cancer for more than 33 years, will mark a major milestone this spring with the 25th anniversary of its signature fundraising event, Chefs for a Cause.

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at The Piermont, located at 494 Fire Island Avenue in Babylon, and will bring together more than 25 local restaurants for an evening of exceptional food, drinks, and entertainment – all in support of individuals affected by breast and gynecological cancers.

Guests attending Chefs for a Cause will enjoy tastings from participating restaurants, live music, and a variety of auctions and raffles, creating a festive and meaningful evening that highlights both community spirit and long-standing commitment. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition’s ongoing programs and services, which provide education, support, and advocacy for cancer patients and their families throughout the local community.

For 33 years, the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition has been committed to supporting those impacted by cancer, and Chefs for a Cause has been a cornerstone of that mission for the past 25 years,” said representatives of the organization. “This anniversary event celebrates the restaurants, businesses, volunteers, and supporters who have helped make this fundraiser a lasting success and ensured our work can continue.”

Tickets for the event are $125 per person. Reservations are required, and no walk-ins will be accepted.
