Local Roots in the Northeast

Part of what makes The Bacon Brothers’ Paramount appearance special is their close ties to the region. Both brothers are longtime New Yorkers – Kevin Bacon resides in New York City with his wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick, and the couple also maintains a home in Sharon, Connecticut. Michael Bacon is based in New York City as well, where he has enjoyed a long career as a musician and Emmy-winning composer, and also serves as a faculty member at Lehman College in the Bronx.

Their Northeast connection helps explain why the duo frequently returns to New York venues for performances. Over the years, they have built a loyal following in the area, and shows like the upcoming Paramount concert give local fans the chance to experience the Bacon Brothers’ signature mix of folk, rock, and Americana without traveling far.
