Levittown Man Arrested In Connection To Robbery At Massapequa 7-11 Store

According to police, Kevin McKenna, 33, of Vista Lane, allegedly entered the 7-11 store located at 4222 Sunrise Highway. He faces charges of third-degree robbery.

MASSAPEQUA, NY – A Levittown man has been arrested in connection to a robbery that took place in Massapequa on Friday, March 1, 2024. According to police, Kevin McKenna, 33, of Vista Lane, allegedly entered the 7-11 store located at 4222 Sunrise Highway.

After selecting various items, McKenna concealed them in his pants pocket. When an employee confronted him, a struggle ensued. According to police, McKenna managed to bypass all points of purchase and left the store without paying for the items.

Following an investigation, officers located McKenna nearby and arrested him without any incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

McKenna now faces charges of third-degree robbery. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, March 1, 2024, at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
