Manorhaven is an incorporated village on the North Shore of Long Island in Nassau County, New York. History

Manorhaven was officially incorporated as a village in 1930 after local residents chose home rule rather than joining a proposed city of Port Washington. The name Manorhaven combines “manor” and “haven” to reflect the village’s character as a pleasant and sheltered place to live along the bay. Over the years the village has remained a residential enclave with strong municipal identity, even as the surrounding Port Washington area has grown.
