
NORTH HEMPSTEAD, NY – Nassau County Sixth Squad detectives report the arrest of a Great Neck man in connection with a public lewdness incident that occurred on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at approximately 4:40 p.m., in Russell Gardens.
According to detectives, a 15-year-old male victim was walking his dog through Daniel J. Berg Memorial Park, located at 47 Wensley Drive, when he observed an unknown adult male near the park’s entrance. As the victim walked past, the suspect allegedly adjusted his waistband and exposed himself.
The juvenile immediately left the park, returned home, and notified his mother, who then contacted police.
Following a thorough investigation, detectives arrested Hua Yang, 60, of 15 Clent Road, without incident.
Yang is charged with Public Lewdness and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, December 19, 2025, at First District Court in Hempstead.
