GREENLAWN, NY – A beloved Long Island tradition is back as the 45th Annual Pickle Festival takes place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the historic John Gardiner Farm in Greenlawn. The event, organized by the Greenlawn-Centerport Historical Association, celebrates all things pickled with food, family fun, and a touch of local history.

A Long-Running Tradition

The Pickle Festival began more than four decades ago as a nod to Greenlawn’s agricultural past, when pickle farms once dotted the area and cucumbers were a prized local crop. Over the years, the festival has grown into one of the community’s largest annual gatherings, drawing thousands of visitors from across Long Island.
