Curtis Sliwa
Four years after losing the mayoral election to Eric Adams, Republican Curtis Sliwa has entered the race once again to unseat the current mayor. Sliwa is the founder of the Guardian Angels, a group that empowers members to patrol streets and subways as a civilian watch force. He still wears the organization’s emblematic red beret, and his campaign platform aligns closely with the group’s commitments to community involvement and safety. File photo: lev radin, licensed.

QUEENS VILLAGE, NY – On June 30, 2025, the Board of Directors and Officers of the Queens Village Republican Club, the oldest Republican club in America, voted unanimously to endorse Curtis Sliwa for Mayor of New York City.

We support Curtis Sliwa, whose watchword is “Improve Don’t Move,” because of his public policies to bolster the blue-collar working-class families from the outer boroughs, the backbone of NYC, as well as reversing the exodus of police officers retiring in record number.  We support his plans to hire 7000 more cops, unshackle them, and his opposition to the City of Yes and the city’s destructive sanctuary policies.  He stood with us continuously for the two long years we fought to shut down the notorious tent city of illegal migrants at Creedmoor. For this, we owe him our absolute loyalty and support.

Sliwa is a true New Yorker who has spent 50 years on the front lines protecting our communities. He knows every block of this city because he’s walked it, lived it, and fought for it. Now we call on all good people who love NYC, from every community and every background to join us and unite to elect Curtis Sliwa.

A great American patriot, Lt. Col Allen West once said:

As the oldest GOP club in America, it is your duty to carry the torch for the Republican Party and its core principles for the whole nation.”

Now we embark on the fight to save our city, with Curtis Sliwa, as the People’s Mayor.
