WANTAGH, NY – One of Long Island’s most anticipated summer events returns this Memorial Day weekend as the 2025 Jones Beach Air Show takes to the skies on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25. The free event, now branded the FourLeaf Air Show following a change in sponsorship, is set to run each day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jones Beach State Park.

Headlining this year’s show are the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, returning with their signature high-speed aerial maneuvers in the F-16 Fighting Falcon. The elite demonstration team is a fan favorite and a longtime staple of the Jones Beach air show, marking their 10th appearance at the event.

In addition to the Thunderbirds, this year’s military lineup includes an impressive range of tactical demonstrations:

  • U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team
  • U.S. Navy F-35C Lightning II Demo Team
  • U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II Demo Team
  • U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler Demo Team
  • U.S. Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet “Rhino” Demo Team
  • 105th Airlift Wing, NY Air National Guard – C-17 Globemaster III
  • 106th Rescue Wing, NY Air National Guard – HC-130/HH-60 formation

Civilian acts will also play a major role in the spectacle. Notable performers include Aarron Deliu, reigning Air Masters Cup Series champion; aerobatic pilot David Windmiller; and the Farmingdale State College Flying Rams, who will showcase a 22-aircraft formation from the school’s aviation program. The American Airpower Museum Warbirds and Warbird Thunder Airshows will add vintage aviation flair to the schedule.

Admission to the air show is free, though a $10 parking fee applies per vehicle. The event typically draws hundreds of thousands of spectators, and state officials are encouraging early arrival. Additional transportation options are available via NICE Bus, which will provide hourly service between the Freeport LIRR station and Jones Beach from Friday through Sunday.

In the interest of public safety, the U.S. Coast Guard will establish “No Entry Zones” off the shoreline during the event. Boaters will be restricted from entering marked areas, but permitted beyond designated boundaries.

To help navigate the event, attendees can download the FourLeaf Air Show mobile app by texting “Airshow” to 516-842-4400. The app includes performer schedules, maps, and other helpful information.
