EAST HAMPTON, NY – Some of the world’s top beach volleyball players will compete on Long Island later this month when the AVP League returns to East Hampton for a two-day professional tournament overlooking Three Mile Harbor.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, at EHP Resort & Marina, where Olympians, world champions, and other elite athletes will compete in AVP League matches in a waterfront setting. Gates open at noon, with competition beginning at 1 p.m. each day.

The East Hampton stop is part of the 2026 AVP League season and will feature four league teams competing over the weekend:

  • San Diego Smash
  • Austin Aces
  • Miami Mayhem
  • Brooklyn Blaze

Among the athletes expected to compete are several internationally recognized players, including 2024 Olympians Chase Budinger, Kelly Cheng, Andy Benesh, Kristen Nuss Cruz, Taryn Brasher, and Miles Evans, along with other AVP stars such as Geena Urango, a back-to-back AVP Most Valuable Player, and Taylor Crabb, a six-time AVP Best Defensive Player.

Unlike traditional indoor volleyball tournaments, the AVP League brings professional beach volleyball to unique venues across the country. The East Hampton event will take place on the grounds of EHP Resort & Marina, a nine-acre waterfront resort overlooking Three Mile Harbor. Organizers say spectators can expect professional competition alongside food, drinks, and harbor views throughout the weekend.

Professional beach volleyball has continued to grow in popularity in the United States, particularly following strong Olympic performances by American athletes. The AVP League features both men’s and women’s competition in a city-based league format, with teams traveling to destinations around the country before culminating in the league championship later this summer.

Tickets for both days are available through the AVP, and additional event information is available on the league’s website.
