CONCORD, NH – In a fiery message posted on his Truth Social platform, former President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on his GOP primary opponent, Nikki Haley, and issued a warning to anyone supporting her campaign.
Trump highlighted the common occurrence of losing candidates’ donors reaching out to support the winner. However, he made it clear that this would no longer be the case with him.
Trump declared that anyone making a contribution to Haley’s campaign would be permanently barred from the MAGA camp, emphasizing that those individuals were not wanted or accepted because of their failure to prioritize America first.
The former president continued with his use of nicknames referring to Haley as “Birdbrain.”
This threat against Haley’s supporters signifies a heightened intensity in Trump’s rhetoric as he seeks to rally support from all corners of the GOP. While Trump secured an 11-point victory over Haley in the New Hampshire primary, his margin was narrower than anticipated, prompting him to exert pressure on her to suspend her campaign during his election-night speech.
Mocking Haley’s positive remarks after the race was called in his favor, Trump emphasized that she had a “very bad night” and vowed not to let her “get away with bulls—.”
In recent weeks, Trump has been successful in garnering support from prominent figures who had once criticized him. Senators Marco Rubio, John Cornyn, and Deb Fischer, as well as former primary opponents like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Senator Tim Scott, biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, have all endorsed Trump.
As Trump intensifies his campaign, his rhetoric and tactics are evolving, showcasing his determination to solidify his influence within the GOP and secure the support and loyalty of his followers.
