Huntington Bay is an incorporated village on the North Shore of Long Island within the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County, New York. History

The area that became Huntington Bay has long been associated with Huntington Harbor and the maritime traditions of Long Island’s North Shore. During the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, large waterfront estates and seasonal homes were established overlooking the harbor and Long Island Sound. The Village of Huntington Bay was incorporated in 1924 to preserve its residential character and local governance as surrounding communities continued to grow.
