New York State Route 25 (NY-25) is one of Long Island’s longest and most important roadways, stretching from Queens Boulevard in western Queens all the way to Orient Point on the North Fork. Covering more than 105 miles, it serves as both a major commuter artery and a historic route.

The highway is made up of several well-known segments:

Unlike Long Island’s parkways, Route 25 is a state highway open to all vehicles, including commercial traffic. Its mix of multi-lane commercial corridors, suburban arterials, and scenic rural stretches makes it one of the most diverse roads on Long Island.
