The Nassau County Police Department’s Major Case Squad reports the arrest of a Jericho man in connection with a commercial burglary that occurred on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at approximately 5:45 p.m. in Manhasset.

According to detectives, officers responded to Ethan M. Jewelers, located at 148 Plandome Road, following reports of a burglary in progress. An investigation determined that an unknown male had shattered the front window of the store, stole multiple pieces of jewelry, and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Following an extensive investigation, Major Case Squad detectives identified and located the suspect, Kenneth Moore, 57, of Jericho Turnpike in Jericho, New York. Moore was arrested without incident. No injuries were reported.

Moore is charged with Burglary in the Third Degree. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, January 23, 2026, at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
