NASSAU COUNTY, N.Y. – The Nassau County Police Department’s Major Case Squad has arrested four Queens men in connection with a series of residential burglaries that occurred across Jericho and Manhasset, officials announced. The arrests were made on Thursday, November 13, 2025, following a detailed and coordinated investigation.

According to detectives, the defendants allegedly broke into multiple homes, where they removed jewelry, designer handbags, credit cards, and cash before fleeing the scenes. After extensive investigative work, officers located the suspects and arrested them without incident.

Irving Brenor, 18, of Queens Village, is charged with:

  • Robbery 1st Degree
  • Burglary 1st Degree
  • Two counts of Robbery 2nd Degree
  • Burglary 2nd Degree
  • Criminal Mischief 4th Degree

Jayson Jaya, 20, of Elmhurst, is charged with:

  • Robbery 1st Degree
  • Burglary 1st Degree
  • Robbery 2nd Degree

Giam Leal-Cardenas, 19, of College Point, is charged with:

  • Burglary 2nd Degree
  • Robbery 2nd Degree
  • Criminal Mischief 4th Degree

All three adult defendants were scheduled to be arraigned Friday, November 14, 2025, at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.

Juvenile Defendant

A 17-year-old male, whose name is being withheld due to age, is charged with:

  • Burglary 2nd Degree
  • Robbery 2nd Degree
  • Criminal Mischief 4th Degree

He was arraigned earlier on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in the Youth Offender Part at First District Court in Hempstead.
