SYOSSET, NY – A 42-year-old man from Queens Village is facing multiple charges after allegedly exposing himself to a woman in a Syosset parking lot and being connected to a similar incident in Jericho earlier this year, according to Nassau County Police.

Authorities say Ryan Paul Sabin was first seen on the evening of Wednesday, July 16, around 8:12 p.m., in the parking lot on Michael Drive in Syosset. A 27-year-old woman reported that a man had exposed himself to her while she was in the area. The next morning, she reportedly spotted the same individual again and immediately notified law enforcement.

Responding officers attempted to apprehend the suspect, but he fled the scene. An investigation led authorities to New Hyde Park, where Sabin was located and taken into custody around 3:40 a.m. on Friday, July 18, without further incident.

Police later connected Sabin to an earlier incident in Jericho, where he allegedly exposed himself in a similar manner on Wednesday, May 28. That case had remained under investigation until the Syosset incidents brought new attention and evidence.

Sabin has been charged with two counts of public lewdness and one count of fourth-degree stalking. He was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on July 18.

Law enforcement officials believe there may be additional victims and are encouraging anyone with relevant information to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.

The investigation remains ongoing.
