WASHINGTON, D.C. – It’s no wonder that the approval ratings for the Democrat Party remain at record lows. Party leaders can’t seem to come up with an agenda that isn’t devious, deceptive, and self-serving. More often than not, their political strategies are just plain bizarre. Who can forget their “defund the police” fiasco?
During the 2020 presidential election, they decided that the strongest candidate against Donald Trump would be an established politician, an “elder statesman.” They wanted Joe Biden in the Oval Office, and they didn’t let protocol or state election laws stand in their way.
But Biden wasn’t an elder statesman. He was proven to be a weak, unprincipled politician, showing clear signs of senility – someone who could be easily manipulated by unscrupulous handlers.
That’s exactly what happened. Democrats perpetrated perhaps the most devious and dangerous fraud ever committed against the American people. For four years, supported by a complicit media, Democrats brazenly lied to the public about Biden’s fitness to serve. They assured the country that he was intellectually competent – that he was making all the important decisions impacting the nation. The same people are now writing volumes about his steep mental decline during that time. The release of the Biden-Hur audio recordings further confirms what was so clear to so many. Joe Biden was utterly incapable of making important decisions, including those impacting national defense. Unknown, unelected puppeteers were running the country.
After his election, the same people wasted no time in dismantling our national sovereignty, ushering into our country millions of unvetted foreigners, while endlessly repeating the blatantly false claim that “The border is secure.”
Now that Donald Trump has been reelected with a clear mandate to remove those illegal immigrants, Democrats have dug in their heels. Rather than accepting the will of the people, they’ve decided to fight harder than ever against everything Trump stands for.
Incredibly enough, their contempt of President Trump has driven them into the arms of vicious criminal aliens, who sauntered into our country during Biden’s Administration. Now that they’re here, Democrats are fighting tooth and nail to keep them here.
A cavalcade of U.S. lawmakers, led by Chris Van Hollen, travelled to El Salvador on behalf of one incarcerated gang member deported by the Trump Administration. They claim that his deportation was illegal, and are demanding that he be immediately returned to American soil. Liberal judges are trying to override the president’s authority by issuing nationwide injunctions against his deportation efforts. Others, more activists in black robes, have even harbored gang members, or helped them escape capture. They’re more concerned with stopping Trump than keeping America safe or restoring trust in our justice system. Then there are the Democrat lawmakers and politicians who participated in violent protests at an ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) holding facility, demanding gang members be released and the facility be closed.
The objects of their affection are neither productive members of society or misguided souls seeking redemption. They’re vicious gangsters who participated in heinous crimes, including murder, rape, pedophilia, and the trafficking of women, children, and hard drugs. The motto of the MS-13 gang tells us all we need to know: “Kill, rape, and control.” They are the very essence of evil, and they’ve become the darlings of the Democrat Party.
Democrats argue that they’re not defending gangbangers. They say they’re fighting to protect “due process.” But their claims of self-righteousness are as fake as those assurances of Biden’s brilliance. Where were they when Biden said to hell with the due process of our immigration laws? There were no protests from Democrats as millions of unchecked foreign citizens poured into our country without due process. Now they’re screaming bloody murder every time an illegal migrant is deported. At the same time, liberal judges are interpreting laws to favor criminal aliens, and liberal lawyers are rooting around for legal loopholes they can use to impede deportation proceedings.
Their new plan, their alliance with evil, is no less insane than their “defund the police” brainstorm. It all stems from mindless hatred of Donald Trump – hatred that was planted and cultivated by the Democrat Party. It seems to be the one thing the party does best.
If Democrats really want to forget the past and move forward, they can start by cooperating with our ICE agents. And while party are leaders are desperately searching for a viable agenda to restore those sagging poll numbers; they should keep their eyes peeled for the scruples they abandoned in their quest for power.
