
HICKSVILLE, NY – The Nassau County Police Department Major Case Squad has reported the arrest of a Hicksville man in connection with two armed robberies that occurred earlier this fall.
According to Robbery Squad detectives, investigators linked a suspect to two separate robbery incidents in which a man allegedly brandished a butcher knife with a brown handle. The first robbery occurred on September 22, 2025, at the Bolla Mart located at 620 Old Country Road in Hicksville. The second incident took place on November 20, 2025, at A&N Grocery, located at 151 Levittown Parkway in Hicksville.
Following an extensive investigation, Robbery Squad detectives, with assistance from the Bureau of Special Operations, the Electronics Squad, Crime Scene personnel, and Eighth Squad detectives, executed a search warrant at a residence located at 124 Acre Lane in Hicksville during the early morning hours of Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
As a result of the search, police arrested Bryan McMenamin, 50, of Hicksville. Investigators also recovered the butcher knife believed to have been used in both robberies at the residence.
McMenamin is charged with Robbery in the First Degree, two counts of Menacing in the Second Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree. He was arraigned later that day at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
