OCEANSIDE, NY – Nassau County Police Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Queens man in connection with a grand larceny that occurred on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at approximately 1:32 p.m. in Oceanside.
Detectives say a male employee at Kravit Jewelers, located at 3151 Long Beach Road, was assisting a man and woman who asked to see several bracelets while shopping. After examining the merchandise, the woman reportedly told the employee they would return later to complete a purchase, and the pair walked out of the store. The employee soon discovered that one of the bracelets, valued at roughly $11,500, had been taken.
Following an investigation, detectives identified the male suspect as David Beckham Adam, 19, of 173rd Street in Jamaica, Queens. On Sunday, November 16, 2025, detectives observed Adam driving a gray 2015 Dodge Chrysler and conducted a traffic stop near Rockaway Turnpike and Peninsula Boulevard in Lawrence. Police report that Adam presented a New York State driver’s license despite having previously entered the United States illegally.
Adam was taken into custody without incident. Detectives later confirmed that he is unlawfully present in the country and is subject to removal proceedings. Efforts to identify and locate the female suspect remain ongoing.
Adam is charged with Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree and is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
