BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at Long Island University has announced that multi-award-nominated singer and performer Josh Groban will headline its 2025 Gala, taking place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 8:30 p.m. The annual benefit concert serves as one of Long Island’s most anticipated arts fundraising events, supporting the nonprofit center’s year-round performances and arts education programs.

The gala will unfold at the Tilles Center’s Concert Hall in Brookville, where guests will enjoy a one-night-only concert from Groban – known worldwide for his powerful baritone voice and commanding stage presence. The evening includes pre-show festivities, including a cocktail reception and dinner for gala sponsors and supporters, before the main performance begins.

Funds raised from the event will help sustain Tilles Center’s community programming, including student performances, educational workshops, and partnerships that bring arts access to thousands of Long Island residents each year. Seating prices for the concert vary depending on location, with premium orchestra and gala-level packages available through the venue’s website.

A Night Supporting Long Island’s Arts Future

Tilles Center’s annual gala has long been a cornerstone of Long Island’s cultural calendar, bringing together philanthropists, arts patrons, and community leaders. Each year, the event features world-class performers – from John Legend to Steve Martin & Martin Short – with proceeds directly benefiting the nonprofit’s mission to “bring world-class entertainment and arts education to the Long Island community.”

The 2025 gala will also celebrate Tilles Center’s New Works Initiative and the center’s inaugural Artist-in-Residence, Adam Pascal, underscoring its growing commitment to fostering original productions and artist development.

Located on the campus of Long Island University, Tilles Center is recognized as one of the region’s premier venues for live performance, featuring a robust lineup of music, theater, and dance throughout the season.
