NASSAU COUNTY, N.Y. – A Glen Head woman is facing multiple felony charges after probation officers discovered a loaded rifle magazine and narcotics during a home visit, Nassau County police said.
On September 4, 2025, just before 1 p.m., probation officers conducted a routine visit at a residence on Hill Court in Glen Head. Inside the home, they recovered a high-capacity rifle magazine loaded with 26 rounds of ammunition. Sixth Precinct detectives were called to the scene to assist with the investigation.
During the search, investigators also found 23 plastic bags containing what appeared to be crystal methamphetamine and six glass vials suspected to contain cocaine.
The resident, 36-year-old Christine Bagwell, was arrested without incident.
Bagwell has been charged with:
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree
- Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree
She was scheduled for arraignment Friday, September 5, 2025, at First District Court in Hempstead.
