ROOSEVELT, N.Y. — Nassau County police have arrested three individuals in connection with a robbery that took place Wednesday night, August 6, 2025, involving a Domino’s pizza delivery driver.
Detectives said the incident occurred around 10:14 p.m. when a 32-year-old Domino’s employee attempted to deliver an order to a residence on Woods Avenue. Upon arrival, he was confronted by three males who claimed to have placed the order and demanded the food.
When the driver requested payment, one suspect allegedly grabbed the pizza from him while another forcibly took a plastic bag containing soda. During the encounter, the victim was pushed and spit on. The suspects then fled on foot northbound on Union Place toward Whitehouse Avenue. The victim remained at the scene and contacted police.
Responding officers soon spotted a 2004 gray Hyundai with three occupants near the area. Following an investigation, police arrested Nicholas Brown, 19, of Lynbrook; Jaden Taylor, 18, of Rockville Centre; and a 17-year-old male from Nassau County. All were taken into custody without incident.
Each is charged with second-degree robbery. Brown and Taylor are scheduled for arraignment Thursday, August 7, 2025, at First District Court in Hempstead. The 17-year-old will appear the same day before the Youth Section of First District Court.
Under New York law, second-degree robbery is a Class C felony that typically involves forcibly stealing property with certain aggravating factors, such as acting with one or more accomplices or causing physical injury. If convicted, defendants can face significant prison time, often up to 15 years, depending on prior criminal history.
