PATCHOGUE, NY – Rock duo Matthew and Gunnar Nelson will return to Long Island this fall for a live performance at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, scheduled for Saturday, September 13. The twin brothers, known professionally as Nelson, bring with them a legacy that spans three generations of music history.

Tickets for the upcoming concert range from $59 to $89 and are available through the theater’s official box office. The show follows a sold-out performance earlier this year at the same venue, where the brothers commemorated what would have been their father Ricky Nelson’s 85th birthday. That May concert drew a strong turnout, prompting plans for the duo’s return.

Nelson first gained national attention in 1990 with their debut album After the Rain, which went double platinum and featured the No. 1 hit “(Can’t Live Without Your) Love and Affection.” They became one of the era’s most recognizable sibling acts, with multiple music videos topping MTV charts and several singles reaching the Billboard Top 10. In the years since, the brothers have continued to record, tour, and evolve as live performers.

Their appearance in Patchogue will feature a mix of original hits and musical tributes to their late father, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee who began his career on the classic television series The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. With this lineage, the Nelson family holds the distinction of being the first in music history to produce No. 1 hits across three generations – a record recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.

In addition to their commercial success, the Nelson brothers are known for their stage presence and vocal harmonies, which continue to draw fans across the country. Their live performances often blend acoustic and electric elements and feature stories from their experiences growing up in a show business family.

The Patchogue Theatre, located on East Main Street in the heart of the village, has become a favored stop for legacy acts and contemporary performers alike. With their return engagement set for September, Nelson is expected to deliver another evening of nostalgic, high-energy entertainment that connects past and present in equal measure.

Concertgoers are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as demand is expected to be strong following their previous appearance. For more information, visit patchoguetheatre.org or the official Nelson website at nelsontwins.com.
