Levittown Man Arrested After Argument Allegedly Turned Physical, Leads to Officer Injury

LEVITTOWN, NY – A Levittown man was arrested Monday afternoon following a domestic disturbance that escalated into a physical altercation and resulted in an officer being injured, according to Nassau County Police.

Police responded to a residence in Levittown at approximately 4:10 p.m. on July 14 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a verbal argument had taken place between 28-year-old Tucker Hahn and a 34-year-old male victim. The argument allegedly turned physical, during which the defendant struck the victim’s phone.

As officers attempted to place Hahn into custody, he became combative and physically resisted arrest, causing injury to one of the officers. Both Hahn and the injured officer were transported to nearby hospitals for evaluation and treatment. The nature of their injuries was not disclosed.

Hahn was taken into custody and is charged with Assault in the Second Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at First District Court located at 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
