The story of the 5th Keroro Gunsou anime film revolves around a curious stone figurine, shaped like Sgt. Frog, that Sgt. Frog's friend Fuyuki comes across. Uncovering the secrets of the figurine leads the two and their allies on an adventure at the massive stone statues of Easter Island. There, they meet harmless spirits known as Mana, and the odd twins Io and Rana. Lastly, there is Akuaku, a legendary evil spirit recently awoken from its long sleep.
