Lupinacci said he plans to sponsor legislation with Sen. Carl Marcellino (R-Syosset) that would provide school aid for the installation of solar, wind or geothermal energy sources. These structures would save taxpayer money by significantly cutting energy costs.

Lupinacci said he plans to sponsor legislation with Sen. Carl Marcellino (R-Syosset) that would provide school aid for the installation of solar, wind or geothermal energy sources. These structures would save taxpayer money by significantly cutting energy costs.

“The alternative energy movement is finally reaching a point where there is a public demand for cost-effective and sustainable solar energy. As a member of the Assembly Committee on Environmental Conservation, I’m proud to support such impactful legislation. Projects like this go a long way toward saving our environment and the potential of saving taxpayers thousands of dollars,” said Raia.

“New York State is already ranked 7th nationally in solar capabilities. I’m optimistic that we can continue to take advantage of a growing alternative energy market and invest in our future by introducing more sources to our Long Island communities,” concluded Lupinacci. Via longislandexchange.com
